Kim Dailey has received an A+ endorsement from the Montana Conservative Alliance (MCA) as part of its 2026 Legislative Candidate Endorsements.
The MCA recently released its long-awaited endorsement report, highlighting candidates across Montana who align with its principles-based evaluation process. According to the organization, this year’s endorsements were delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, but were carefully developed to provide voters with what they describe as a more reliable measure of a candidate’s values and likely decision-making.
Unlike some endorsement lists that may reflect political alliances or specific interest groups, MCA emphasizes a different approach. Their process centers on evaluating each candidate’s core principles, philosophies, and instincts, which they believe are the strongest indicators of how an elected official will vote once in office.
At the heart of MCA’s evaluation is a 58-question Principles Questionnaire, designed to uncover a candidate’s positions on key issues related to constitutional government, individual liberty, and the role of government. The organization states that this method prioritizes principles over promises, aiming to identify candidates who will consistently support policies aligned with limited government and pro-freedom values.
MCA also notes that its system allows for multiple endorsements within the same race, acknowledging that while candidates may share alignment on key principles, their overall ratings can still vary based on depth and consistency of those convictions.
Kim Dailey’s A+ rating places her among the top-tier candidates recognized in this report, reflecting strong alignment with the criteria outlined by the Montana Conservative Alliance.
The organization encourages voters to review the full report and its methodology to better understand how candidates were evaluated, and to use the information as one of many tools when considering their choices in the upcoming election.
